Quick Issue Templates for Jira · Last updated 11 September 2026

This app runs entirely on Atlassian's infrastructure. It sends no data to any server outside Atlassian, and it makes no outbound network requests of any kind.

What the app stores

The app stores only the templates you create. A template contains:

This content is written by you. If you choose to put personal data into a template's text, that text is stored as you wrote it. The app does not ask for, detect, or process personal data on its own.

Where it is stored

Templates are held in Atlassian Forge storage, inside Atlassian's cloud, scoped to your site's installation of the app. They are not copied anywhere else.

What the app reads from Jira

When you use it, the app asks Jira for:

It reads these only to fill in the dropdowns you see. Nothing read from Jira is stored by the app.

What the app writes to Jira

When you click Create issue, the app creates that issue — and its sub-tasks — in Jira on your behalf, using your own Jira permissions. It cannot create anything you could not create yourself, and it writes nothing at any other time.

Third parties

There are none. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no external APIs, no subprocessors.

Retention and deletion

Templates stay until you delete them. Deleting a template removes it immediately. Uninstalling the app removes the app's stored data from your site in line with Atlassian's data retention for Forge apps. You can export everything to a plain JSON file at any time from the app's Export button.

Your rights

Because all data lives inside your own Atlassian site, you control it directly: view it, export it, or delete it from within the app. If you need help with a request, contact us at the address below.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is stored or who can see it, the change will be published on this page with a new date before it takes effect.
